by the way, does xbasic provide a way to do timing or how should i make
the software wait for the pic to finish a programing cycle (4
microseconds i think for the 16f688) or is the software slow enough not
to worry (i'll be using a 166mhz or 400mhz machine but it would be nice
to write something that will also work on fast machines).  thanks.
