I must admit ignorance as to how it actually works, but I've always thought that a PC scope would have a MAJOR advantage as far as the ability to capture a waveform and compare it to another one later on. I have a PC interface card in my TDS, but transferring data from the scope to a PC is so slow and clunky that it is almost useless.
