Nothing disturbs me more than watching a patent system devised to further
the science and well-being of the people being construed to do exactly the
opposite.  Thank God for the GPL.  What we really need is an "open-hardware"
initiative that documents hardware developments and could be used to contest
frivolous patents such as this one clearly is.
