No, I admit I didn't look that hard. I saw my friends $10K 4 channel scope, and looked at what was available for < $1,000. I ended up buying a new 25 MHz scope for around $150. (I would probably buy from eBay and get better features today.) When I had to find something to handle 4-6 channels, I remembered people talking about PC scope/logic-analyzers. I was able to buy a Bitscope for about $500 and it seems to do everything I need. And with some Nano-clips that I found at DigiKey, I can clip on to the pins on a .3mm pitch part. Life is so much easier with the right tools. :-) I would love to buy an Agilent logic analyzer and a Tek scope, and maybe I will one day, but for now this does the job for me. Actually, I have been drooling over a Fluke Scopemeter 190. Not because I need one. Just because it is such a cool toy.
