Eagle (the PCB layout program) will generate "outline" paths for a PCB
for use in CNC machines.  they can then be output in assorted formats
by their output processor; Looks like there is already pcb-gcode.zip
from the Eagle downloads page (and probably others.  The outline
capability is built into eagle at a rather primitive level; there's
usually a ULP to get to be easily usable.)

I own an LPKF circuit board CNC machine and the associated software.
(which works pretty nicely if you want to spend several $k to make
circuit boards.  I haven't quite decided whether it was worth it; but
it DOES make for an entirely different view of making PCBs when there
is so little effort involved in making changes and plotting a new
board.  Sort of like word processors and writing, perhaps.) It's really
amazing how much more there is to the lpkf software than just
generating outlines and outputting to the plotter...  (but probably not
enough to justify what they charge for new software :-)
