MPLAB IDE v6.50 is recommended for on-going designs. If new device support
is required, or you would like to try out some of the new features, MPLAB
IDE v6.52 can be downloaded, but note that it does not undergo the
extensive testing of the full production release, v6.50. New devices
labeled "advance support" my be only partionally functional.  Currently,
allll Microchip Development System tools ship with MPLAB IDE v6.50 CDROM.
