Most of the automotive buses are CAN based with proprietary higher level = =20 protocols. Sometimes they are a little more standardized such as in Diese= l =20 Trucks where J1939 often is used bu almost never fuly standard compilant. There is some back engineered info on the net. Google for car model AND =20 CAN or something like that.
