Hello all

I'm interested in researching some automotive circuits however my =
searches thus far have yielded nothing.  Basically, what I'm looking =
for, is some information on interfacing to the vehicles on-board =
controller to change various settings like air/fuel mixture, getting =
tach readings, etc.

Is there a standard bus or something?  I remember seein CAN and LIN, is =
this something I should be looking into.  I think my problem is that I =
just don't know the proper search terms.  If anyone could maybe give me =
some search terms to look up or maybe some names of interface protocols, =
etc, it would be greatly appreciated.  Any links would also be welcome.
