  I have been asked to research external RAM for interfacing to a dsPIC. =
We
are currently researching the dsPIC, and would like to have the capabilit=
y
to add external RAM if neccessary. I am finding it rather difficult to fi=
nd
a starting place for researching. Can anyone make some recommendations as=
 to
types/models/companies?? So far, the two major classes seem to be SRAM an=
d
DRAM - SRAM being the more expensive, smaller size of the two. There is a=
lso
pseudo-SRAM, which is DRAM with the refresh circuitry already in place. A=
m I
correct so far? Out of different manufacturers, I have come up with these=
 so
far:
