I once did a buried seismic system around GTE's facility in hawaii. We used a ride-on ditch witch, which worked pretty well. All went well, till we found where they dumped the scrap from construction.. I never studied for Rodeo. Then there was the time the station manager came running out because of a small detail we hadn't been made aware of. It seems we were about to ditch through the buried waveguide that fed the station.. It wasn't on the print. We never did find it, but it was fun hand-ditching the last 50 yards. That's where I did my first paid engineering job. The alarm wouldn't stabilize, despite the designer being flown out for two weeks of thumping and tuning. I designed an analog processor that I could put right in line with their circuits, that solved the problem. -- http://www.piclist.com#nomail Going offline?
