    Fuel is difficult, although some of the newer PICs might be up to
    the task.  Most people use higher-powered microprocessors for
    fuel-injection management.

    Ignition is easier; PICs are in the ignition controllers from
    Crane Cams, Jacobs Electronics, and probably others.
