That's how I have always figured it, but it doesn't like to start with the
two 18 pF caps and 47k series resistor I started with. I paralleled 47pF
on top of each cap, and it starts more reliably.

BTW, I came up with 1.27 uW of drive with those values, running 5 volts to
the PIC.
