I have a modified version of the AN851 bootloader (it didn't work out of
the box for me). I use it on a 18F452, so it should work on the 252 as
well.

I've also written an uploader program for linux. Its included in the
archive as "an851host.c"
its written in plain C, so it might work under windows as
well if you change the serial device (/dev/ttyS0 under linux to COM1 or
whatever under windoze.)
