Hello all, was wondering if someone here might know of a command line util
that extracts the first frame of an MPG1 movie in Linux?

I've created a script that takes the pictures and movies produced by my
digital camera and creates a website. The script is finished (it actually is
a mirror of the output I got from my old digital camera) but the thumbnails
it saves of movies is only 160x120, the movies are 640x480 so if I could
extract the first frame of the MPG file and save it as a 640x480 JPG that
would be much more useful as a sample image.

I'm looking for something very simple, no GUI, since it needs to be called
from within a perl script without any user intervention. Thanks, TTYL
