Red, Yellow, Green, etc but no orange, etc. Only on/off for each r/g/b element. They do make SignLine that does _exactly_ what the OP was talking about. My own RGB light toy shows that you don't shake your head from side to side, just look to the left and right of the device. Your eyes don't move instantly and will scan across the display.
