I wonder why an where they have to be synchronized? The pulswide is different most of the time. Is it than the frequencie that has to be synchronized?=20 Willy -----Original Message----- From: pic microcontroller discussion list [mailto:PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU] On Behalf Of Samuel BOUQUET Sent: woensdag 19 mei 2004 18:14 To: PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU Subject: Re: [EE:] pic: Roman Blacks Linistepper stepper motor controller The problem is that you have to "synchronize" all the PWM! -----Message d'origine----- De : pic microcontroller discussion list [mailto:PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU] De la part de Willy Gooris Envoy=E9 : mercredi 19 mai 2004 17:36 =C0 : PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU Objet : [PICLIST] pic: Roman Blacks Linistepper stepper motor controller To all, but specially to Roman Black. I found this list by looking for a "stepper motor controller" and I am also beginning with pic micro chips. I read the spec's about "Roman Blacks Linistepper stepper motor controller". It makes use of power transistors in the output stage. It was readings somewhere that they are running hot. Question: Is it not possible to put 4 pwm devices in the place of the end transistors. These PWM devises could be 4 pics with a PWM output and a MOSFET. This may be simplistic, but ........ Is there somebody that has done this? Or is this to difficult to do? How would you do it.
