Hi Lucian We use Orcad in my company, but we built our one libraries from the Orcad ones. we did this for every part we needed. This was very time consuming at the beginning but it pays off as the libraries in Orcad are full of errors. now we just keep on adding new parts as we need them. best regards Luis -----Original Message----- From: Lucian [mailto:luciffer@HOME.RO] Sent: 18 May 2004 08:37 To: PICLIST@mitvma.mit.edu Subject: Re: [EE]: Transistor Problem The first time, indeed, was with some diodes, but here neither was my fault. Orcas oriented them in that direction, and I never thought to doubt Orcad. But these lessons are learned for the future. Spehro, did you mean that there's a US pinout for the BC range or were you talking about transistors in general ? Lucian, I notice that you've twice had to alter the orientation of components, and both times you've mentioned the nuisance of having to do that. Not trying to get in your face, really, but wouldn't it be sensible to do a test first and get one right before installing a lot of components back-to-front ?
