Adam, I am just going off the advertised features on the web page where is states "TRF-2.4G - 2.4Ghz Data & Voice 8ch Transceiver" I myself are interested on how they are going to implement voice as the pins on the device seem all spoken for and there is defiantly no room for 8 extra analogue inputs. But it does say "voice 8ch" on the web page. I expect that If I have to I can just sample with the PIC A/D at kHz and send to the remote end but I would prefer to do it the easy way if possible. Now if they expect me to change voice into data before it goes to the module I wont be very happy as I expect a reasonable person would expect that voice would be at least an analogue input, maybe there is a hidden microphone and speaker? ;) To answer Jakes question: I brought mine from Commlinx, as I was only after 4 for the initial testing I didn't shop around, they were $25 per module. By the way Jake your mail box is broken when I tried to send a reply to you. regards Lee McLaren -----Original Message----- From: pic microcontroller discussion list [mailto:PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU]On Behalf Of M. As far as I can tell, these do not directly support any analog or voice mode, but if they do you'll find all the information about their modes and operation in the nordic data sheet. Also please note that Liapac appears to have copied a data sheet from Wenshing which has the same device: http://www.wenshing.com.tw/English/prouducts_info.asp?bookbm=370 And that, of course, is a copy of the Nordic data sheet, minus the information about the direct mode (which may be the mode you're looking for). -Adam Lee McLaren wrote: >Of Intest to those who want to use the voice features, this may also give an >insight to the workings at Laipac.
