Some months ago I ordered 2 heatsinks from Conrad (http://www.conradheatsinks.com) which is situated in Australia. Their prices are 4 times as low as here in Belgium. With shipping costs added (5 kg) I'd still only pay half of what I would have to pay here, so I ordered 2 heatsinks. The order however took 4 weeks to deliver. It arived in Belgium after 4 days and the customs service kept it for more than 3 weeks. They charged me more than 70 administrative costs (God knows why). Anyway, I mailed Conrad to tell them that it might be better to use a mail service like UPS or something in the future. Not that I was mad at them, not at all, although I was quite pissed off at the Belgian customs service. One or two days later they mailed me and they said they would refund the administrative costs, but that they would also refund me the heatsinks for the caused trouble! I told them that wasn't necessary, but they insisted. So, I got 70 + +-150 refunded! They really have the best best service I've ever got. Mails were always quick (well, as quick as possible with a 9(?) hours time difference) and polite. Did I mention the heatsinks are great too :)? If you ever need a heatsink, take a look at theirs! I designed the motor controller board the day before yesterday and etched and drilled the board. After assembling the board, I went to spray the board with the clear protective laquer but found the can had a slight leak on the seam. I emailled Electrolube (HKW) in the UK and first thing the next morning I received an email back apologising and asking for my details. The next day (today), a courier delivered a brand new can of CPL200 laquer :-) Now it may only have been a few dollars worth of spray but the level of service I received from Electrolube (HKW) was fantastic. They have kept a loyal customer and I feel its only right to put a quick post up to express my complete satisfaction with the level of service I received from them. It sounds a bit like creeping but they'll certainly be the first brand I consider buying for other products available from them.
