A bit dear for me alas.
$US100,000 per person to do the North Pole.
$US150,000 pp South Pole.

The days when you could do it on the cheap in a Massey Fergusson farm
tractor appear to be gone.

We'll just have to be content with doing Goodwin-Austin* (Everest is too
crowded these days, and there are far far too many New Zealanders there
already).
