Arocket: These are smaller versions of some of the V2 photos I mentioned. These are the nozzle/engine subset. Body set yet to come. I will put some or all of these on a website but this reduced size set gives you an idea of what to expect. Here is the most useful one overall. It is a view looking up from under the rocket (lying on the ground) with a good view of the nozzle, combustion chamber, injectors, jet vanes, launch stand, vane rotators - also what I THINK is the igniter, probably with both gas feed and electric ignition. http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/users/4bf73a84/bc/3392/__sr_/1dd1.jpg?phJq4oABP7BFw9Tf Yellow arms are part of launch stand. They slot into the bottom of jet vanes and keep them vertical prior to launch (or else). Jet vanes are about 400mm tall. Screws/bolts on vanes (visible on 2nd picture) are about 65mm between centres according to my subsequent measurements of my hand ;-) Red is nozzle (of course) and white is rocket body. Some photos show the chain drive mechanism to the vanes. Despite what I said before, the vanes appear to be mounted above centre.
