Hi Mike
the bit rate needed is quite low (10Mbs) the optical connection is SMA. this
are full modules, what I need is the optical connector with the photodiodes
for RX/TX the rest of the module
I have with it's own protocol which is custom not a specific one. I just
need to find a replacement for the RX/TX part not the module.

What wavelength, bit rate and optical connector type do you require?  You
can buy small transceiver modules that work at 100Mbs or 155Mbs fairly
cheaply in the industry standard 1x9 package, but you will need to deal with
the PECL interfaces.
