A Theremin is simply two oscillators, both operating in the range of about 1 MHz. Your hand varies the pitch of one of them, by changing the capacitance of an antenna. When the two oscillators are mixed, the result is an audio tone. The second antenna picks up the signal through your body, and that directly affects amplitude. http://www.thereminworld.com/ -- http://www.piclist.com hint: To leave the PICList mailto:piclist-unsubscribe-request@mitvma.mit.edu
