Hi Bruce, Thanks for the reply. Im using a 16F877 and the onboard programmer. I'm runnning Windows XP and have the IC-Prog v1.04 programmer set up as: Hardware: JDM Programmer Port: Com1 I/O Delay: 10 Interface: Windows API Communication: None selected Configuration: Oscillator: XT Code Protect: CP OFF I've tried the default fuses it selects for you (WDT, PWRT, BODEN, WRT) I've also tried will them all turned off as shown in the manual. No matter what I try I always get the following error: " Verify Failed at address 0000h ! " I'm using the sample LCD.hex file from the CD. I know my COM1 port works becuase I use it for the Basic Stamp BOE board and for my digital camera. I tried IC-Prog 1.05C from www.ic-prog.com and tried the XP driver setup... no luck. I tried differnet cables other than the supplied one... nothing. Always the same error. Please, I hope you can help...
