Your total capacity requires are pretty low; another alternative would be a smallish gell cell, ala: http://www.allelectronics.com/cgi-bin/category.cgi?item=GC-1250, but that might be difficult to find locally, and shipping would shoot your price up. You MIGHT find a local donner; this sort of battery is changed regularly in things like emergency lighting and alarm systems, and the old (not really dead yet) cells need to be disposed of...
