I'm not sure where you might have gotten data on those numbers, but Netcraft (probably the most trusted OS neutral data source) says otherwise: http://www.serverwatch.com/stats/netcraft/article.php/3336931 These numbers are updated every month and the percentages have been fairly constant over the past few years. Microsoft likes to make it sound like they are making major increases in the web server market share, but the fact is they've hit a plateau and are more or less staying there.
