I have a problem reprogramming a 16F818 with my Wisp628, apparently
after enabling the watchdog (not LVP). I anyone can tell me what could
cause that I would be very gratefull.

But to check the chip I dug up my ICD2, installed MPALB 6.5, inserted
the 818 in my PICDEM 2+ board and connected it all. Using MPLAB I can
read the chip, but it reads all 0's. I can import a .hex file, program
it to the chip, verify it without error message, read the chip, and I
get 0's again. I can disconnect the PICDEM board, and still program and
verify without errors! Now what the heck is going on? I did not even
wave a dead fish...
