Herbert, try http://www.lsdiodes.com for .60USD white LEDs. They are fast and cheap. Also, don't forget for tail and running lights -- only red lenses across the rear and only amber along the sides in the US. I'm not sure of the legality of some of the LED dodads people are selling now, but some of them look pretty neat. If you are looking for big bags of LEDs, keep an eye on Ebay. But, a lot of those come directly from Hong Kong so shipping could be iffy.
