FWIW, Microsoft Visual Studio .NET is a MUCH better development for the P= ocketPC platform than MS Embedded Visual Tools. I have done some C# programming for the PocketPC and with VS .NET it is b= eyond easy. Installation of the environment on both my 2000 and XP syste= ms was easy and trouble-free. I'm fairly sure there is a time-limited (60-day?) eval available. You'd = want MS Visual Studio .NET 2002 or 2003. Can't speak for the Palm at all. MS sent us (FREE!) Viewsonic V37 400MHz= PocketPCs to encourage us to write PocketPC software.
