I do have canned reseponses (alternate sigs) in both english and dutch. I use them a lot, both of them. I tried to word them to - discourage students asking for homework solutions and hobbyists asking me to do their work - yet not discourage potential clients who are searching for someone to do (payed!) work for them Strange but true, reading a first mail I sometimes not decide which of teh above categories applies.
