I did think about which core to use, I would have preffered 18F, except for the larger instruction set and the lack of small chips. Maybe I'll even stick to 12-bit, there are flash 12-bit core chips popping up from 'future product' status to 'in stock', an I understand the 6-pin 10F's will be 12 bit too.
