Most of the bench supplies I've seen have been well over $100. $50 I would definitely go for. For now I dug out an old atx power supply as someone suggested and converted it to a $0.00 net +5/+12 supply. I think I might have cut off the - wires on accident, but oh well. It doesn't have a fan so it will probably melt someday and burn down my house.... all for saving a measley $50.
