Center two ground, TX and RX on the sides, and HS out and HS in outermost, so that both transmitters are on one side, and both receivers are on the other!

I've used this plan many times, I call it the highway model.

Crossover cables work, and a single line phone cable plugged into it is busied out, but does no harm to anything..
