Fluke makes decent DMMs and doesn't screw their customers on printer ink. It seems like a good reason to avoid HP for non-printer items where you have the option of buying from a non-printer maker. I do have an HP inkjet printer, and I refill the ink. The printer is 2 years old with 5000 pages on it and I'm only on the 3rd original ink cartridge (they do wear out after about 5 refills).
