I've got one of these new-fangled laptops that are too good for things like floppy drives and serial ports. Not realizing it was my only PC with a functioning serial port, I shipped my desktop home from school a few weeks early, so now I've got a PIC dumping RS-232 level debugging info and no way to read it. Is there any way I could easily get this in through a different port on my laptop? The only input ports on my laptop are usb, parallel port and sound card. Hopefully I'm not just SOL! -- http://www.piclist.com hint: To leave the PICList mailto:piclist-unsubscribe-request@mitvma.mit.edu
