I'm tempted to design it back out, but it's a REALLY NICE PART! And, I can't find a replacement. I'm really cramped for board space. On the prototype, I'm going to put in some voltage dividers for 5V to 3V and a diode and pull-up to try to get the 3V to drive a PIC 5V input. The MAX part has 4 3V to 5V translators and 4 5V to 3V translators in a very small 20 pin package. I don't see that anyone else is making anything like it (at least I have not found it yet, which is why I'm asking the list!).
