If you're using one of the packet-mode CD utilities (Direct CD?), that may not be supported on a mac (they tend to be proprietary to the Utility used, at least sometimes), and there may be problems with CDs that have not had the session 'closed.' In some MacOS versions, the PC exchange capability MIGHT be an extension that was removed or not installed (but like I said, you wouldn't normally need that for a CD anyway...)
