Hi Eron,

If I were them (Microsoft) I would use AOL (America On-Line) marketing
techniques and just send them out for free or mass mail those Visual Studio
.NET demo CDs to anything that moves.

I guess I did not research that link well enough myself -- I thought there
was a way you could download it, but now that I think about it, it would
probably be a monster download.

I would still contact them and ask for a free CD to be sent to you. It can't
hurt asking.
