Hello all, Just finished creating a website for my latest project: Carmondi! (I sure like 8.3 limited names don't I?) http://repatch.dyndns.org:8383/pic_stuff/carmondi/index.html It's actually a very simple project, but hey maybe something from it will be useful to someone here. It reads a GPS stream output from the serial port of a GPS unit and prints out the most important details: speed, heading, altitude and number of sats locked. I've mounted it in my car, which of course has Car Monitor 1.2 (a.k.a. carmon -> http://repatch.dyndns.org:8383/pic_stuff/carmon/) installed. So far testing is going well and it looks like I don't have to reference my car's speedo or compass anymore! :) (Unless of course I'm underground or in a thick forest...). I will be posting more pictures of it actually mounted and functioning in the car soon (it was dark and cold when I installed it...). Anyways, as always, please let me know if you have any questions or comments. Enjoy, TTYL ---------------------------------- Herbert's PIC Stuff: http://repatch.dyndns.org:8383/pic_stuff/ -- http://www.piclist.com hint: To leave the PICList mailto:piclist-unsubscribe-request@mitvma.mit.edu
