I know that feeling. On a site that has close on a thousand people there has
to be two with the same Christian and surnames, spelt identically, and not
only that, but working in the same department! Occasionally even doing bits
on the same project. Hence I now use my middle initial in my email name -
the other Alan doesn't even have a middle name, but still people get
confused.
