I had already found the Mike Pearce article, the circuit looks like its
TRIAC only even though the code will work with both. I have had another good
look on the net for the IGBT / FET version of the schematic but its proving
to be elusive.

Thanks for the pointer to http://www.microchipc.com/sourcecode/ there is
heaps of good stuff in there :)

Actually Mike, the second program name (the long one) does now
include the schematic.

Also of interest would be the MOSFET and SCR manuals from Phillips
that show how to use a MOSFET as an AC rectifier.
