Well, I actually thought about this enough once to give you this advice: 1. Only consider the 18F8x20 series, which can use external program memory. 2. Don't consider using the CCS C compiler. It has many bugs, foremost not accepting valid C for structure declarations and function prototypes. You'll be rewriting uClinux until the cows come home. Try microchip's C18. BTW, why don't you port some form of linux to the AT91RM9200-QI-002-ND (digikey part#)? If you can get it to boot to a shell and single-step with GDB, I'll pay you $250 for your design on may 1, and $500 if you get some more things I need working. I need this for an upcoming project and can't afford the $5K for the dev kit. Does it count as a microcontroller? Its a 32-bit ARM9. There is already an ARM linux distro. I could be convinced to make a simple "eval board" if you are serious about getting linux to run on it. So I am stuck now! since Microchip doesnt offers a 32 bit microcontroller. > Please suggest me something! anything! > > Thankyou > Bye > Vishal > > > > --------------------------------- > Do you Yahoo!? > Yahoo!
