But only if you are interested in higher quantities -- I guess I was not
clear in explaining the angle where I was coming from in my original post:

I use both distributors and definitely know their plusses and minuses from
my personal experiences. What I was trying to convey was that it is the
lowest *single-quantity* price I personally have seen on a PIC18F452 from a
distributor. I did not intend any more to be read into things than that.
(That's why I posted only the single quantity price).

I realize that when you look at high quantities, that's a completely
different story, but I was simply comparing onesie-twosie prices, which is a
completely valid thing to do if someone is interested in very low
quantities.
