> The letter S is the abbreviation for "Siemens" Thanks, but as a couple of people pointed out, the author of the page was using a font that displayed omega. I don't have that font and saw "S" As for the inductors, I found that relay coils are mostly in that range of a few hundred mH. One small RS transformer had two 600mH secondaries Not sure how these will fare as audio inductors. The project is making modifications to a Crybaby wah pedal. Guitarists are pretty fussy about effects characteristics, and there's some debate about the properties of the various inductors in Crybaby models through the years Once I get the sound right, I want to add a PIC (for auto-wah, running wah, swell, etc) controlling two wahs. There are some interesting ideas out there for inter-wiring and voltage control for example http://geofex.com/Article_Folders/wahpedl/wahped.htm But I digress...... -- http://www.piclist.com hint: To leave the PICList mailto:piclist-unsubscribe-request@mitvma.mit.edu
