I have spoken with the Director of Core Development at Microchip and the device was leaked inadvertantly. Apparently Wouter is correct also, they have managed to improvise on the X-10(tm) comms over mains technology, and have managed comms over a ground line. Not too sure on the bluetooth though, he did mention Firewire 2a though. He will let us know more on April 2nd after a couple of days holiday.
