Hi, Of course you always have to be wary of what you buy off of Ebay but you do things to minimize your risk like checking feedback and knowing what you are buying and know what it costs. Mine were offered as surplus and this company was selling lots of these at that time. These not only handle a lot of current but they are micro stepping drives. 10micro steps per step. Like I said, I tried different drivers and different software until I ended up with a very nice CNC router. Be wary of the different Windows software available. I started with Kcam and the performance was just horrible. Motors move irraticly and thus were inaccurate. This was even with the geckodrives. I wanted to use windows based software, not DOS software and tried several. I went with Mach1 from www.artofcnc.ca. I got a wonderful product and great support from the author for what I consider to be a very reasonable cost. I was able to triple the speed of the motors for jogging and its very smooth. The controllers have a pot to adjust to tune them to the motors for very smooth accurate performance. Good luck, FJ _________________________________________________________________ Get reliable access on MSN 9 Dial-up. 3 months for the price of 1!
