Hi,
I know you want to build one but after dinking around with several different
units, I just went and bought some gecko G201 controllers and they are
incredible.  Most of the units you see for sale have these in them.  I built
my controller around these and it works great.  I couldn't find Gecko's
website but here is a company that sells them.  I got mine cheaper off of
Ebay.
