Hi all,

Out of frustration trying to get this LCD working on a 18F using a demo
version of PICC-18 I decided to re-write the thing in JAL.

Using PICLITE on my 16F877 worked fine, but using the same code on =
PICC-18
just did nothing on my 18F452 (oh, I could flash LED's and stuff, but =
the
LCD just wouldn't work).

So to eliminate the compiler from the equation I switched to JAL on the
16F877 first, got that working. Then changing only one line (include =
f877_20
to include f452_20) the exact same code worked on the 18F452!

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone is interested in the JAL library?
Currently it only contains generic procedures for writing to the LCD, an
init procedure, clearscreen, and a way to set some pixels. Once I figure =
out
how to do lookup tables in JAL (I'm still a newbie) I'll add the font =
and
text output I had in the PICCLITE version.
