Hi, I am designing a Hexapod robot with 12 Hitec HS422 servos (similar to Futaba S148), 2 servos per leg. Suppying the servos is a 6V, 5A Buck switcher. When the hexpod is walking (all servos are active & under load), the servos suck more than 5A of current, resulting in power failure. I searched for the current consumption of the servo under load but couldn't find it anywhere. Do you know this info? Are the servos drawing too much current?
