Yes - there was a glitch in the microcode on the 75GXP which caused the d=
rive
to leave the head in one place for too long. This caused the lubricant
coating on the platters to wear down. Then, when the head moved out of th=
e
"valley" in the lubricant... Bang. Headcrash.
